Darin has nearly two decades of expertise in product strategy and data science, spending time at Atlassian, Okta, and Meta. His experience includes driving growth strategies focused on developer platforms and advocating the pivotal role independent vendors play in platform ecosystems. Witnessing the global adoption of data regulations without easy and accessible compliance solutions spurred the inception of OpusGuard. Darin envisions the next decade to revolve around enforcing the data policies of the last. Motivated by the imperative to safeguard individual data, as a customer or an employee, he founded OpusGuard to bridge compliance platforms with the myriad of SaaS products teams use every day.

Opus Guard is proud to be backed by Atlassian Ventures, the venture capital arm of Atlassian. Atlassian Ventures invests in early-stage companies that are building apps for the Atlassian Marketplace. The team at Atlassian Ventures is dedicated to helping companies like Opus Guard grow and succeed. We are grateful for their support and partnership.
At Opus Guard, we believe in the power of giving back and making a meaningful difference in the world. Our values of community, responsibility, and sustainability drive us to contribute to the greater good.
Today, we are proud to pledge 1% of our gross sales to support causes and organizations that our team members are most passionate about. This commitment means that for every $100 in gross sales, $1 will go directly towards causes that our teams believe in.
We recognize that each team member has a cause closest to their heart, reflecting their unique stories and passions. To honor this diversity, we believe that our contributions should be shared equally among all team members, regardless of their position.
Our pledge is simple yet impactful: each quarter, we will allocate a grant from our gross sales. Every team member will have the opportunity to nominate a cause they care about. The grant will then be evenly distributed, allowing each team member to direct and equal share of the quarterly allotment to their chosen cause. In a team of 10, this means each person gets to allocate 10% of the total grant to the cause that matters most to them.
By empowering our team to support a variety of causes, we ensure that our collective efforts make a meaningful and diverse impact. Together, we can champion a wide range of initiatives and make a difference in the world.
We are excited to partner with Atlassian in making this pledge to create lasting positive change. We believe that even a small percentage can make a significant difference when we all work together. We are thrilled to embark on this journey and are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to such worthy causes.
We invite you to join us in our mission to make the world a better place. Whether by making your own pledge, volunteering, or supporting our initiatives, together we can amplify our impact.
Thank you for believing in the power of giving back,
Darin, Shu, and Nick
